FINI-PLUS products are warranted to the original purchaser against defects in material or workmanship. The word "defect" means any imperfection that may interfere with the use of the product.
Note: Concrete is a non-combustible material. When overheated, it can crack, which is why we add shredded fiberglass. Micro-cracks or discoloration do not constitute a manufacturing defect per se, and do not prevent the use of the shelf or mantle.
FINI-PLUS undertakes to pick up defective parts only from the authorized retailer for repair or replacement free of charge, subject to availability. The repaired mantle will be returned to the retailer. FINI-PLUS is not responsible for paint or faux finish done by anyone other than us. If you have purchased a fireplace mantel with a faux finish made by FINI-PLUS, we will pick up the mantel "in its entirety" from the retailer upon our authorization. Labor is not covered. The mantel will be returned to the retailer.
This warranty applies under normal conditions of use and does not apply to defects resulting from negligence, failure to install the supplied plugs on the top, misuse, modification by the purchaser, excessive use or overexposure.
FINI-PLUS reserves the right to require proof of purchase from an authorized dealer or other verification for purposes of enforcing this warranty.
This warranty is extended to the original purchaser and is not transferable.
The FINI-PLUS warranty applies in Canada and the United States, and is valid only if the installation complies with the instructions provided by the manufacturer (FINI-PLUS).
All FINI-PLUS products must not be transported in a trailer.
